We are still describing LILO in the installation handbook, but I don't know of any situation where LILO is needed. To reduce the confusion among users I propose to remove the LILO chapter entirely. The attached patch does just that. Reproducible: Always

GRUB-legacy won't boot on Dell Optiplex 320 and some other computers which run LILO fine. So an alternative would be needed. GRUB-2 or syslinux possibly.

Lilo is still required for stuff like the pure 64-bit profiles, not to mention not everyone wants to use Grub. The chapter will remain in the handbook.
