Arch teams, please consider stabilizing =sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.34-r6
and matching =sys-kernel/vanilla-sources-2.6.34.5

These kernels contain important security fixes and should be the latest stable
for gentoo. [1]

hello.
for amd64 update from 2.6.34-r1 to 2.6.34-r6 causes LVM2 errors:
*Setting up the Logical Volume Manager
Internal error: Maps lock 1424588 < unlock 1424657
.....

.....

Hi, is there a reason that you stabilize vanilla-sources-2.6.34.5 and yet gentoo-sources-2.6.34-r6 is based on 2.6.34.4 ? 2.6.34.5 has an additional patch besides 1800_page-table-unmap-for-stack-guard-fix.patch AFAIK.

Please no. 2.6.34 are too much unstable; they have "several" <<random crashes>>. See bugs 335574 331245 328889 317231
