it displays a ton of bugs including ones numbered less than 6000

i dont think they were all reported in the last 24 hours ;)

I think it is displaying all bugs that showed activity in the last 24 hours.

BTW. Can I propose to add a link to "bugs reported since three days" as in
http://bugs.kde.org/

I think it's more fair towards bugs reported at the end of the day...

It used to work for me until yesterday or the day before yesterday (I don't remember exactly), but it doesn't seem to work anymore. It just says "Zarro Boogs found." even though I have just submitted a bug report.

seems to correctly report bugs reported today and this is an old bug. open a new one if you want the time extending.
