When I do /etc/init.d/apache start I get this: Cannot load /etc/apache2/extramodules/libphp4.so into server: libxsltbreakpoint.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory [ !! ] This has happened only after upgrading to libxslt-1.1.0. Downgrading to libxslt-1.0.33 seems to solve the problem and I can start apache newly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Executing /etc/init.d/apache start Actual Results: Cannot load /etc/apache2/extramodules/libphp4.so into server: libxsltbreakpoint.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory [ !! Expected Results: Apache running is the expected result.
revdep-rebuild, or re-ermege php
When I installed libxslt-1.1.0, I recompiled: php apache2 php_mod With the same results. Only downgrading to 1.0.33 seems to solve the problem.
Panard is correct. Running a revdep-rebuild will correctly rebuild php so that it can use the new libxslt version. Luis, I really don't know why yours isn't working, try a revdep-rebuild. Seems to me like this is resolved.
definetly revdep-rebuild.
