The current ebuild doesn't take care of some of the hardcoded paths in
the abuse_sdl package. The current install still looks for files in the
/usr/local/share/games/abuse directory.

You're going to have to be more specific because it seems to work fine for me.
You might try remerging and see if that fixes things for you.

what if you rm -rf your .abuse dir and run it again ?
there was a bug with that iirc ...
