I'd like to suggest that the ebuild postinst notes for apache 2.2.15 add two words. "cgi and cgid modules are now handled via APACHE2_MODULES flags make sure to enable those in order to compile them." should be: "cgi and cgid modules are now handled via APACHE2_MODULES flags in /etc/make.conf. Make sure to enable those in order to compile them." One of the things I've always liked about Gentoo has been that the people who write the documentation have been so precise and complete in details (while still being concise) that directions could be easily followed by a mentally challenged monkey on an overdose of qualudes - or a tired sysadmin who can't quite remember where the "APACHE2_MODULES flags" are located, and has customers barking at him because their webmail suddenly doesn't work. I know this is almost intuitively obvious to gentoo devs who work with make.conf on a daily basis, but some of us forget these things, and the addition of these two additional words would be helpful, and very much in keeping with the gentoo tradition of precision in documentation.
fixed in cvs, thanks
