upstream releases ver0.8.1 with some improvements. I would like maintainer to bump version. Reproducible: Always
for the record: v4l-utils is split in 2 pkgs, libv4l and v4l-utils, so both needs to bumped at the same time.
Upstream has not released 0.8.1. There was no 0.8.1 announcement on the mailing list. There is no 0.8.1 tag in the upstream git tree. Also, notice that the archive file in Hans de Goede's directory is called "v4l-utils-0.8.1-test.tar.gz"? It's just an rc, not the final release. However, 0.8.0 WAS officially released, and quite a long time ago (see http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.drivers.video-input-infrastructure/19047/). So we still need to bump.
