In the past, the tahoma font couldn't be included in the corefonts package for licensing issues (especially the bold version), But the wine project has created a free tahoma font that has the exact same looks. After installing wine the fonts can be found in: /usr/share/wine/fonts/tahoma.ttf /usr/share/wine/fonts/tahomabd.ttf I would be a good idea to include this free font, as it is very important for correctly displaying webpages (and more). A separate ebuild could be created for this font so that it doesn't have the same MSttfEULA license, but I thing including it in the corefonts is more handy as an all in one microsoft-fonts package. Forget it, I messed up the testing of the tahoma font, the wine tahoma font is different and doesn't event support antialiasing/hinting, so it is very different from the MS one.
