I know this version hasn't been in the tree very long, but it works, and the latest stable does not. I suppose youtube changed their site layout. So if we want a working youtube-dl for stable users, can we stabilise this version (and drop old ones)?

It doesn't seem very different at all from 2009.06.13 (latest stable), and it's been working very nicely for me since I installed it a few days ago.

2009.06.13 does not work for me either but 2010.08.04 is stable for me as well on amd64
