When I installed app-forensics/rkhunter, I was told that I need to
install virtual/mailx in order for rkhunter to send mail.

It is possible for rkhunter to send mail using mutt, which does not
provide virtual/mailx, so this is not quite true.

I will attach the diff for /etc/cron.daily/rkhunter that shows this.
You might want to change the message that you output to users.

This is the diff for the cron script with rkhunter that shows it is
possible to run it with mutt, which is not part of virtual/mailx.
