The exim documentation, both HTML and PDF, isn't supplied by upstream in the main exim package. It might be worth adding a separate ebuild for the documentation. Will Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try installing exim 2. Look for the docs 3. Fail to find them
So, this is a feature request for a USE=doc to exim? Is the documentation available as tar-ball somewhere that you know of?

exim is quite a lot under development, not sure what you referred to here. I suggest to install the html documentation with USE=doc. Would that be enough for you?
