The terminal size, as reported by "stty size" is one character less (both horizontal and vertical) than it should be according to size hints. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Install lxde. This will install openbox and lxterminal as dependencies. Launch lxterminal. Resize it with your mouse so that the size hint says, e.g., "100x50". Run "stty size" inside. Actual Results: It should print "50 100" Expected Results: It prints "49 99" The bug did not exist in lxterminal-0.1.7 This also affects the effective initial size, it became 79x23 instead of 80x24.

I no longer use LXDE (is it still alive, BTW?), don't want to install anything just to test if this bug is gone, and thus won't report anything upstream.
Maybe you don't want to do it but if someone wants this bug to be gone, he will eventually have to send it upstream
