Description Jussi Lemponen 2003-11-10 03:21:03 UTC
Our gentoo mirror, rsync1.fi.gentoo.org (130.230.54.100) has had native IPv6
connectivity for a couple of years. Based on ongoing discussion on
gentoo-mirrors, would it be possible to add address 2001:708:310:54::101 to
rsync.europe.gentoo.org (and rsync.fi.gentoo.org)?

Btw, I noticed that 130.230.54.100 is missing from rsync.europe.gentoo.org,
could that be added as well?

Reproducible: Always

The .europe rotation was probably full when your mirror came aboard.
Added 130.230.54.100 to .europe.

Also added 2001:0708:0310:0054:0000:0000:0000:0101 (please confirm
that is correct) to .fi. Currently, there are no ipv6 addresses in
.europe. Do you want to be the only one until we add more?

Thanks.

Yes, the AAAA record for rsync.fi.g.o is correct.

And yes, we can be the only IPv6-enabled mirror in .europe. for the time
being. Hope there will be others soon as well though.

Thank you.
