Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge app-office/osmo
2.
3.

Actual Results:
emerge failed

Expected Results:
emerge osmo without problems

emerge --info:

amd64 done
Comment 4 Myckel Habets 2010-08-04 17:54:26 UTC
Builds fine, but when I started it, CPU usage went up, but nothing happened. Removed the .osmo dir, started again and came up instantly.
Comment 5 Myckel Habets 2010-08-04 17:58:43 UTC
Clicking the "close window" button in the top causes many error messages in the terminal, segfault en when I try to start it again the same issue with eating up all cpu and not showing anything.

Works fine here on x86 with Gnome 2.28
When I exit it keeps running in the System tray but that can be disabled in preferences. Works perfect here as far as I can tell.
Comment 7 Myckel Habets 2010-08-05 05:49:26 UTC
Seems that I still have the old GTK+ installed (2.18.9). I'll update that to see if it fixes it. 2nd, I'm using Xfce4, not Gnome.

I'll let you know the results.
Comment 8 orionbelt2 2010-08-05 09:39:24 UTC
For whatever it's worth, i am not experiencing any of the problems that Myckel Habets does using gtk+-2.20.1-r1 and the configuration listed above.

My problem right now is that Osmo is supposed to be able to import iCalendar files, but after a lot of clicking around i did not find a way to do it... but nothing to do with this bug ;)
Comment 9 Myckel Habets 2010-08-05 17:48:08 UTC
Updated GTK+, same problem. When I looked at the bug tracker of osmo I found the same bug reported by someone else:

Comment 10 Florent D'halluin (Flal) 2010-10-19 18:30:07 UTC
Just tested the masked package with gtk+-2.20.1-r1 (the last stable one .. )
everything looks fine, haven't tested the ical thing yet. I confirm that the stable 0.2.8 doesn't compile with my gtk version.

Comment 11 Thomas Kahle (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-11-02 15:46:32 UTC
-) Current stable is broken
-) 0.2.10 works for me (kde-4 with openbox)
-) Upstream bug seems to be ignored

Summary: x86 stable, closing, thanks everybody for research and testing.
Please open new bugs for remaining issues.
