Good grief... a bug before the product is even released.

America's Army 2.0 for Linux is still in Beta. I am a beta tester for it,
so I'll have an ebuild ready to go as soon as the game is released to the
public.

Comment 3 Martin Holzer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-11-26 23:00:14 UTC
seems to be no more beta

see the ebuild in bug 34482
Comment 4 Harm Geerts 2003-11-27 22:02:46 UTC
The ebuild in #34482 says it will take up 1.3GB of space when it's done installing.
However it's taking up 1.6GB
And perhaps it's a good idea to also mention the fact that it needs 2.4GB of free space in PORTAGE_TMPDIR to unpack and create the install image.
That's something I would have like to know before I started to emerge this huge ebuild
Comment 5 Robert Tseu 2003-11-27 22:16:29 UTC
Oops, sorry to jump the gun. I didn't really fully check the ebuild in 34482 for
accuracy. I just couldn't wait for the ebuild to come out and did not want to
forgo the convenience of the emerging the package. This is my first submission
and I don't really know what the heck I'm doing :-)
