When proxy is set, konqueror can't connect to https sites. I'm using kdelibs 4.4.5 with ssl enabled. When I'm connecting to ssl enabled sites without proxy, it works. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Setup a proxy in KOnquerors preferences 2. Try to connect to ssl enabled site. Actual Results: "The requested operation could not be completed Unknown Host" Expected Results: I should have been directed to chosen site.
its probably ssl flags which is not properly set somewhere, as kopete has the same problem: it cannot connect to MSN via https through proxy. Now I've added ssl flag to global USE flags (I could swear it was there already, but it wasn't). I can confirm this with konqueror-4.5.0 ( svn from today evening ). See 331133 for my emerge --info.
Fixed in kdelibs-4.6.1-r1 using a patch from upstream 4.6.2. Should you against expectations still experience problems, please reopen.
