Description Stephan Friedrichs 2010-08-03 10:45:01 UTC
app-backup/duplicity-0.6.06 should speak English (like every application on my computer) and it usually does, but one message is not in English: "Nenhum ficheiro estranho encontrado, nada foi eliminado." It is the last message of "duplicity cleanup"

These are my LC_* settings (all en_GB.UTF-8 or de_DE.UTF-8)

igel@Garten ~ % echo $LC_ADDRESS
de_DE.UTF-8
igel@Garten ~ % echo $LC_COLLATE
en_GB.UTF-8
igel@Garten ~ % echo $LC_CTYPE
en_GB.UTF-8
igel@Garten ~ % echo $LC_IDENTIFICATION
en_GB.UTF-8
igel@Garten ~ % echo $LC_MESSAGES
en_GB.UTF-8
igel@Garten ~ % echo $LC_MEASUREMENT
de_DE.UTF-8
igel@Garten ~ % echo $LC_MONETARY
de_DE.UTF-8
igel@Garten ~ % echo $LC_NAME
en_GB.UTF-8
igel@Garten ~ % echo $LC_NUMERIC
en_GB.UTF-8
igel@Garten ~ % echo $LC_PAPER
de_DE.UTF-8
igel@Garten ~ % echo $LC_TELEPHONE
en_GB.UTF-8
igel@Garten ~ % echo $LC_TIME
en_GB.UTF-8

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. igel@Garten ~ % duplicity cleanup rsync://user@host.com://users/user/duplicity/backup-dir
GnuPG passphrase:
Local and Remote metadata are synchronized, no sync needed.
Last full backup date: Sat Jul 31 15:59:24 2010
Nenhum ficheiro estranho encontrado, nada foi eliminado.

Expected Results:
I'm not 100% sure what it means or what language it is, but it definitely isn't English (en_GB.UTF-8) or German (de_DE.UTF-8). "nada foi eliminado" sounds like "nothing needs to be deleted".

"Nenhum ficheiro estranho encontrado, nada foi eliminado"
"No extraneous files found, nothing deleted in cleanup." [See URL]

Apparently a version bump is in order, but one that still doesn't fix the translation issue. :)

"Development has begun on 0.7.00 and is slated for mid-2010.

"The current stable release is 0.6.09, released July 25, 2010." [1]
