Here's an update to the xmms-imms plugin. The only changes I made were incrementing the version number and adding libpcre as a dependency.

0.9 is in portage, and it doesn't depend on pcre

0.9 is a very old version. 0.9.8 is newer than that. Doesn't matter anyway, two versions have come out since then. 1.0 is out already. No changes to the ebuild were required, just rename the attached ebuild to xmms-imms-1.0.ebuild.

ok apologies... dunno why I missed that 8 there... I'm testing out 1.0 and will add it in later tonight if it works out.

0.9.9 is now in portage.  1.0 installs, but it doesn't show up on my plugin list with xmms 1.2.9_pre1 so I'll have to look into that in greater detail later.

With version 1.0, it is installed as a Visualization plugin. As a visualization plugin, it can get things like BPM, which it now uses to determine what style of song you feel like listening to. That's probably why you couldn't find it.
