Description Robins Tharakan 2003-11-08 15:46:24 UTC
emerge gcl repeatedly downloads tetex-texmfsrc-2.0.2.tar.gz repeatedly, and if
its of any help, the usual MD5 checking surprisingly isnt done, it simply starts
downloading it again from 0kb! secondly, other emerges are working perfectly.
(this occured while trying to emerge gcl) (while emerge gmp, emerge texi2html
worked perfectly...)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge gcl
2.download of tetex-texmfsrc starts, and repeats itself from 0kb once it is
finished.
3.
Actual Results:
the download just repeated itself without stop, it had tto be Ctrl-c 'ed to
stop. subsequently a manual
emerge texi2html
emerge gmp
worked fine...(i did them manually, since gcl-2.5.2.ebuild had them enlisted)

note: i havent tried gcl-2.5.3 yet.

Expected Results:
atleast the MD5 should have been checked for whether the file is corrupted or
not, and then start compiling
(i had given no parameters for ebuild. -> "ebuild gcl")

gcl now depends on tetex conditionally
