KMatplot is out of development since March 2002. Have a look at Bug 28123. KMatplot should be masked or removed from portage imho. Maybe your're fine with LabPlot ( Bug 28216 )
Created attachment 20454 [details, diff] patch to fix. OK. Well, I've attached the patch anyway, I would have commited it but I didn't want to stop on anyone's toes.
sci people -- do we want to keep a package in portage that's been out of development for a year and a half?
See bug 28123 - I'll check if qmatplot is better.
qmatplot looks better, just one line of source had to be patched to get it running. I'd say when that one turns stable, let's dump kmatplot. qmatplot-0.4.2 is now in portage.
perhaps resolved/later is the proper status now
Hi, I tried to install kmatplot-0.4-r2 but no luck. Then I saw qmatplot and I think I will be able to install it. Is there any difference between qmatplot and kmatplot or are the same program with two different names? Thank you
