The ebuilds for the various plugins won't build, oddly enough this looks like a makefile related issue, as the build process is complaining about a lack of rule for the given target. Maybe somewhere somebody didn't use real tabs. Ahh, libmyth seems to be absent entirely from the newest ebuild and make sees that the non-existent library is a dependency. Herein lies the problem. Anyone know how to fix the ebuild or see anything glaringly obvious?
ahh, shared library received a bump. Perhaps there should be some sort of version independent symlink in /usr/lib64 for all of the plugins to build against?
I'm sure there are probably updated plugin counter parts to this revision bump, any ETA on when the corresponding ebuilds will happen?
I believe the mythplugins ebuilds were updated at the same time as mythtv. interestingly I don't even get that far, mine complains that it can't find libmyth-0.23.so (the old shared lib from previous builds). This is post new mythplugin packages, too. Very strange.

Generally the symlink name change indicates an API change that could break things during the linking process. Ultimately the application should be updated to reflect the new version.
