Description Lindsay Haisley 2003-11-07 22:05:41 UTC
The example menu at the top of the page uses extensive Javascript and CSS. Many menu items won't work in Mozilla 1.5, although the menus work OK in Mozilla 1.0 on a parallel system running Debian (sarge). The status line indicates a proper reference, however the linked page is not fetched with a mouse-click. Some menu items work properly, however moving the code for these items to another point in the menu heirarchy makes them malfunction. There's no obvious reason why some work and some don't.

In addition to the information below, Mozilla was built with gtk2 to accomodate the galeon build (and the problem also shows up in galeon).

Of the many Javascript menus on this site, this is my favorite one and I'd like to be able to use it in design work for customers.

Works for me in mozilla-firefox-0.8, and I suspect it works in mozilla-1.6 (or at least 1.7_beta)
