Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild
submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely
manner. There are simply too many new packages.

Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The
sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to
commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry
into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this
and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =)

Thanks,
On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team,
Michael.

Hi, please open separate bugs for separate ebuilds, and attach them as plaintext files.
But great work! Thanks!

Thanks for your reply; i'm not a very good english writer/speaker (sorry!)
I review links you post me and would like to commit ebuilds but I don't want to spend more hard disk getting the complete sunrise overlay (growing I hope) nor a layman copy.
It's possible to work only with one part of it, similar as I do with rsync in portage?
$ svn co https://overlays.gentoo.org/svn/proj/sunrise/sunrise/sci-misc/
does work? sunrise-commit does work without all stuff?
Thanks for your time.

You can checkout the complete sunrise/sunrise dir of the overlay with
> $ svn co https://overlays.gentoo.org/svn/proj/sunrise/sunrise/
(approx 38MB in 9300 files) and delete unneeded categories
(but keep license and profile). And add this to your PORTDIR_OVERLAYS in make.conf, but it's discouraged to have unreviewed content in your regular PORTDIR_OVERLAYS.
the other way would be create a directory and checkout some categories and license and profile.

> does work? sunrise-commit does work without all stuff?
It runs `repoman full` and you might get some ".baddepend" errors if you miss something you've deleted previously.

I'm looking forward to hear from you on #gentoo-sunrise ;-)
