emerging koffice-1.3_rc1 give an error if is not emerged libgsf but seems that the configure script doesn't check for this lib. I suggest to insert this dependence in the ebuild of koffice. koffice requires wv2, which has libgsf as a dependency. do you have wv2 installed? Did it install libgsf?
