We just recently added the first rsync mirror in Poland, so you'll be number 2. I've added 82.139.8.16 to the access list for rsync1.us.gentoo.org. You should be able to sync with rsync1.us withing 30 minutes. Please update your rsync cron jobs to point to rsync1.us.gentoo.org and post back here when you've done so. I'll monitor the server for a couple days to make sure things are working fine. Thanks.

So then - any problems with our server? If something goes wrong - just tell us - we will repair it as fast as it is possible. Every comment is welcome.
There have been a few glitches, but it might not be on your end. Is there anything running around 04:20 UTC that might slow down the syncing process? There have been 2 occaisions at that time that don't seem to have sync'd properly. 04:20 on Sun the 16th and Mon the 17th. There was another missed sync at 13:20 on Sun the 16th. Again, the problem may not be on your end. Since the missed sync at 04:20 on the 17th, the syncs have been OK. If no other misses come up within about 24hrs, I'll go ahead and add the server.
Sorry for the delay. This server is now rsync2.pl.gentoo.org. Please update the motd file to include that information. I've subscribed <messer@7thguard.net> to our gentoo-mirrors mailing list (low volume). This list is used to discuss mirror-related issues. Thanks for supporting Gentoo.
