I have been sucessfuly useing kde 3.1.4 on a stable gentoo system since october
7th 2003. Really nothing wrong with it. And I use kde daily almost all day every
day/evening on my 15" g4 powerbook 800mhz. The only issue I have come across is
an annoying bug in the window focus in which keyboard input will affect both a
terminal your typeing in as well as icons and the desktop. but Thats more of a
configuration bug.

Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1.install kde 3.1.4
2.startx
3.profit

Actual Results:  
I Love Linux

Expected Results:  
a fully operational K desktop enviornment

I have been using KDE 3.1.4 for a while now too. Please mark it as stable... one annoying aspect of Gentoo on PPC is that very many packages are marked as either experimental or even x86 only, when in fact those packages are stable and work on PPC just fine.

kde 3.1.4 has been stable since the 29th of November =)
As far as other packages working, let us know, we'll tag them. If you dont let us know and we haven't happened to try it personally, we won't touch it.
