I tried to update vim-core, but I get '404: Not found' and: '!!! Couldn't download vim-6.2.098-patches.tar.bz2. Aborting.' emerge tried round-about 15 mirrors. So it seems that this file is missing again - see bug #29059 (status resolved/fixed) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge -v vim-core 2. 3. It is in fact 6.2-r3 and vim-6.2.098-patches.tar.bz2 has indeed been removed from the mirrors. 6.2-r3 is ARCH and 6.2-r5 is ~ARCH meaning that all users not using ~ARCH will have this problem.
I have no idea why... Looks like distfiles-local was wiped out completely. Anyway, I've put everything back. Should be available in a couple hours at the most.
