Description unlord 2003-11-05 10:49:18 UTC
When I go to install glibc with the nptl USE flag, it fails because it cannot
find the digest for the nptl-0.28.tar.bz2 source archive.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge glibc

Actual Results:
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) sys-libs/glibc-2.3.2-r1 to /
>>> md5 src_uri ;-) glibc-2.3.2.tar.bz2
>>> md5 src_uri ;-) glibc-linuxthreads-2.3.2.tar.bz2

!!! No message digest entry found for file "nptl-0.28.tar.bz2."
!!! Most likely a temporary problem. Try 'emerge rsync' again later.
!!! If you are certain of the authenticity of the file then you may type
!!! the following to generate a new digest:
!!!   ebuild /usr/portage/category/package/package-version.ebuild digest

Expected Results:
It should have been able to verify the digest for nptl-0.28.tar.bz2 and
continued to install.

fixed in cvs
Comment 2 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-11-19 06:37:55 UTC
Same problem with 2.3.2-r3... should I file a new bug or simply fix it?
Comment 3 Martin Holzer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-11-19 06:44:19 UTC
