When emerging gnome-base/libgnomekbd-2.30.2, it breaks with errormessage that gtk_status_icon_set_name is not defined (or something the like, I don't remember anymore). After putting x11-libs/gtk+-2.20.1-r1 into package.keywords and emerging it, libgnomekbd built just fine. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. mask gtk+ >= 2.20 and emerge gtk+-2.18.x 2. try emerging libgnomekbd-2.30.x Actual Results: the emerge will stop -> sadly I haven't the exact error message anymore, but it was something with gtk_status_icon_set_name undefinded or something Expected Results: libgnomekbd-2.30.x should the user force to upgrade at gkt+-2.20.x
configure.in has: GLIB_REQUIRED=2.18 GDK_REQUIRED=2.18 GTK_REQUIRED=2.18 ebuild has: >=x11-libs/gtk+-2.18 how about a build.log of the failure?
I sadly do not have the build log anymore. The error was on a friends machine.
Waiting for it then

My current gtk+ is 2.18.9. Am about to upgrade to see if this fixes it.
I had the same problem and have an ebuild ready to go, but I need to QA some other ebuilds before this.
Fixed. Thanks for reporting.
