when emerging armagetronad, the build looks OK, but just before installing, a script for uninstalling (which is of no use when we get a packaging system) is launched but is failing it's lying in /var/tmp/portage/games-action/armagetronad-0.2.8.3.1/image/usr/games/bin there is the script, and there are some files used to determine the files to uninstall : syl-gentoo bin # Try this from command-line: EXTRA_ECONF="--disable-uninstall" emerge -av armagetronad Any difference? Also try wiping any configs from your homedir for armagetronad.
