It was agreed in bug #287697 that kdeadmin-meta and kdeutils-meta won't pull system-config-printer-kde and printer-applet packages due to still being in testing. I tried today to install 4.4.5 with the cups use flag and it was forcibly removed by portage. After a lot of digging i found out that the reason for that is that the cups use flag is masked for <4.5.0 and not like how it was supposed to be. Maybe this was a typo. Anyone cares to check?
