When I print to an attached printer, chromium fails to print. The printer light does not flash to indicate it was receiving bytes. By contrast, firefox prints normally. www-client/chromium-bin-5.0.376.0_p44320 has the same non-printing behavior. Reproducible: Always Steps to reproduce: 1. Note possibly related bug #309901. According to https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-6349099.html#6349099 updating to cups-1.4.4 fixes the problem. I'd appreciate it if someone could confirm this.

Thanks for the report. Fixed in dev channel releases only because cups-1.4.4 is still unstable.
