How does python 2.6 respond to 'import wx' ?
python2.6 Python 2.6.5 (release26-maint, Jun 19 2010, 23:41:01) [GCC 4.4.4] on linux2 Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information. >>> import wx >>> wx.version() '2.8.11.0 (gtk2-unicode)' Looks good I guess, dir(wx) yields an awully long list - Seems to work as expected.
Please could you list the output from "eselect wxwidgets list" and "eselect wxwidgets show"...
Well, I am kinda sorry, but for some reason editra did emerge today. Obviously (although I did a revdep back when I had the emerge problem) some other update fixed the issue. Was there some wxwidgets or wxpython update inbetween?
nope, no updates at all lately. hopefully it's just a random glitch.
