when I try to emerge kdelibs 3.2 beta 1 with qt 3.2.2 I and sandbox enabled it crashes on me. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1.unmask kdelibs 3.2 beta 1 2.ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge kdelibs 3. I removed sandboc from FEATURES in make.conf and tried again. This time it ran my box out of resources.
Something strange is going on here, because I've emerged in the sandbox and it went fine for me.
ok, I fiddled with CXXFLAGS From: CXXFLAGS="-march=pentium3 -O3 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" to: CXXFLAGS="-march=pentium3 -O3 -pipe -funroll-loops -fprefetch-loop-arrays" and it worked just fine I am leaving this open pending feedback on how to resolve this bug: Squash it as not replicable. Open a new one for the specific CXXFLAGS I used if that is applicable.
let's leave it open for a bit and see if others have any trouble so we know if it's a big problem or just something local
Haven't heard any other noise about this problem, so let's go ahead and close it.
