Hi,

a bugfix release for LHAPDF is out. We should update this ASAP.

From the announce list:

  It has come to light that the way in which the scale (Q^2) dependence of
  alpha_s as reported by LHAPDF was incorrect.  It is OK for the standard
  HERAPDF sets with Alphas_s=0.1176 but for the others in the set
  HERAPDF10_ALPHAS.LHgrid it gives incorrect values.  The pdfs themselves are
  not affecte

Patch against 5.8.3 ebuild.

Well,

after I asked upstream to tag a new version (they were linking to their TRUNK before), they at least made a stable revision for the changed files. Still, the ebuild gets messier than it needs to.

This patch works on the 5.8.3.ebuild renamed to 5.8.3_p01.ebuild.
