Description Pablo Antonio 2010-07-01 23:25:14 UTC
I've sent the empty emails to gentoo-dev+unsubscribe@lists.gentoo.org and gentoo-user+unsubscribe@lists.gentoo.org but I still get messages from those mailing lists.

Am I doing something wrong or this is not working properly? I've tried sending with mutt and GMail's web interface with same results.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Send empty email (no subject, no body) to gentoo-dev+unsubscribe@lists.gentoo.org and gentoo-user+unsubscribe@lists.gentoo.org
2. Wait.

Actual Results:
I keep receiving messages from those lists.

Expected Results:
No more messages from those lists :)

Looks like all kinds of mail is *not* getting through. :)

Assigning anyway with hope the mail backlog subsides.

According to the logs, the confirmation request was emailed out to you, and you never responded to it, so it expired.

We have had issues in the past with Google putting the (un)subscribe confirmations into the spam folder, so I strongly encourage you to check there after requesting them again.

If you're still having trouble after that, I'll email you and confirm manually removing you.

That's correct. The email was in the Spam folder.

Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience. I feel a little embarrassed now.
