Description SpanKY gentoo-dev 2010-07-01 01:54:22 UTC
obnoxiously, only seems to fail under emerge/ebuild. binutils-2.20.51.0.1 and older seems to work fine.

# emerge sys-power/nut -qvp

Comment 1 Nico Baggus 2010-07-06 07:30:13 UTC
I recently did an emerge -e world. So everything was refreshed again. (amd64, x86)
here the install worked flawlessly.
On another system (x86) that hadn't been emerge -e 'd the emerge of sys-power/nut-2.4.3-r2 failed twice.
once for net-analyzer/net-snmp (recompiling net-snmp) fixed that.
and once for media-libs/gd (also recompiling gd) fixed that.
after that nut built & works. (I can see familiar readings on a remote knutclient).
Comment 2 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2010-07-06 13:16:57 UTC
hrm, yes, after re-emerging net-snmp/gd, nut now builds fine. this is obnoxious.

without an env to reproduce in, i'll have to close for now ...
