Works just fine here.
Any particular url ?

Anything with flash. youtube.com, for instance.

Looking through my genlop logs, I see that I recently upgraded www-client/mozilla-firefox from 3.6.3 to 3.6.4 (and correspondingly net-libs/xulrunner from 1.9.2.3-r1 to 1.9.2.4). I'm rolling back that update to see if that fixes the issue.
Comment 3 Bjarni Herjolfsson 2010-06-30 16:28:37 UTC
after performing the following two downgrades:

www-client/mozilla-firefox-3.6.4 -> www-client/mozilla-firefox-3.6.3
net-libs/xulrunner-1.9.2.4 -> net-libs/xulrunner-1.9.2.3-r1

the problem went away (I can view flash videos again). Further, none of the error messages from Firefox mentioned in the original post appeared.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any workaround other than adding the following line to /etc/portage/package.mask

>=www-client/mozilla-firefox-3.6.4
Comment 4 Rafał Mużyło 2010-06-30 19:57:10 UTC
Works fine here, on x86 too.
While OOPP may matter, average youtube flash plays fine,
even though there are few sites that don't work
(upstream knows about some of them).
Comment 5 dE 2010-07-03 11:01:20 UTC
I confirm this problem, and this is a major bug.

This has to do with the new ipc plugin code. You can disable it locally as flash will never be compatible I am sure. To disable open about:config and change

dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.libflashplayer.so;true to false. I will not do this on the distro side as there are many of us that do not use flash.(In reply to comment #5)

This is not a major bug, this is what happens when you use a binary plugin that we have no control over. Closing bug invalid.

Comment 7 dE 2010-07-03 13:31:24 UTC
However in my case a downgrade of www-plugins/adobe-flash-10.0.45.2 resolves the issue.

@Bjarni Herjolfsson

Can you please follow what Jory A. Pratt said and report?
Comment 8 Bjarni Herjolfsson 2010-07-07 11:30:10 UTC
Yes, this Firefox config change has fixed the issue

Comment 9 dE 2010-07-07 13:23:20 UTC
Thanks. Upgrading.
Comment 10 dE 2010-07-07 13:55:45 UTC
Apparently that's not working.

dom.ipc.plugins.enabled, dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.libflashplayer.so, dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.libnptest.so set to false,
