added a message explaining that you need to setup your quake pak files in
/usr/share/games/quake-data before playing
Comment 2 Matija "hook" Šuklje 2003-11-04 00:13:03 UTC
meaning i need to do what? ...copying the .PAK files doesn't work :/
Comment 3 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2003-11-04 00:25:20 UTC
meaning you setup quake-data as if it was the base directory of your quake
folder

you need id1/ with the pak files in that directory at the minimum
Comment 4 Matija "hook" Šuklje 2003-11-04 00:49:50 UTC
yea, i got it now :] ...i had to copy the whole dir and then change all caps
into normal characters.

is it true what it says in the README, that you have to run it with the xfree
opengl and not with nvidia opengl? ...the xfree opengl is pretty slow :(
Comment 5 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2003-11-04 00:59:26 UTC
no, the README is out dated ... i fixed that bug in tenebrae (and thus industri)
quite sometime ago

SpanKY, you're a god!!! ...well, hero would be more appropriate, but god
sounds better :D
