Name: Thomas Kahle Location: Germany Email: tom111@gmx.de Mentor: Christian Faulhammer <fauli@gentoo.org> (backup is maekke) Thomas proved to be a valuable addition to our x86 architecture testing squad. He is reliable and already has extended bugzilla rights which he used in a adequate manner. Apart from arch testing he contributes to the sci overlay, where some ebuilds have been reviewed by maekke and me and found suitable in quality. Maybe the sci team can tell more here. Thomas, send your first quiz to recruiters@gentoo.org and cc maekke and me. Send your OpenSSH key along, too.
Thomas has been very helpful with math packages both in the science overlay and the main tree, and he would be very welcome to the sci and sub sci-* herds if he wants to join when he's done with all the recruitment jazz.
First quiz sent to recruiters.
I will be your recruiter. Please also send your end-quiz to recruiters@gentoo.org when approved by your mentor. Always add a comment to this bug when you send something to that address. Please contact me by IRC or email to schedule the first review session. If you think that recruiters aren't paying attention to this bug at any later point in time, it's your job to ping us on IRC if you don't want any delays.
Just for your information. I will be away from 20 Sep until mid-October, so I am not available as a mentor. bicatali, can you step in as temporary mentor?
Just to make sure, comment #0 mentions maekke as backup mentor. If he's also not available during that period, I can step up as Thomas temporary mentor.
(In reply to comment #5) > Just to make sure, comment #0 mentions maekke as backup mentor. If he's also > not available during that period, I can step up as Thomas temporary mentor. He is away and on limited time anyways...sorry, forgetting to mention that. But I am confident, Thomas will survive without a lot of assisstance, thanks.
We had the review sessions for the first quiz. I have just submitted in one email: -) The first quiz, revised after the review sessions. -) The second quiz (reviewed by fauli, first time submission)
I have just mailed to recruiters@g.o both updated quizes and the sample ebuild.
I have just emailed another round of updated documents.
Changing desired nick to "tomka", this has been my irc screen name for a while and it is also less generic and ridiculous than tom111.

He is not active for a long time
(In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #12) > He is not active for a long time Is this some script, or a person reporting this? I'm not very active, but active. My last commit was 94d135977d on April 15. My bugs are generally attended, although there are some with little progress.
I have replied you just now via mail about a problem with the script for your case Sorry for the noise!
Per mail to the list, he is retiring. Thanks for the work and good luck!
