Description Tom Samstag 2010-06-27 18:45:19 UTC
I was disappointed when I realized that x11-plugins/gkrellm-wifi was removed from the portage tree because it lost upstream support (bug 249678). I use this package and the suggested replacement of gkrellm-wireless does not do the same thing as this package (graph vs krellms).

I've decided to adopt this codebase and be the new upstream supporter. I started the codebase from the original tarball linked to in the mentioned bug. The project will now be hosted at http://github.com/tecknicaltom/gkrellm-wifi where I will also take bug reports.

Attached is an ebuild for version 0.9.12 based on the original ebuild ( http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo-x86/x11-plugins/gkrellm-wifi/?hideattic=0 ) with updated HOMEPAGE and SRC_URI.

Reproducible: Always

I didn't know if this deserved an -r1 bump...

Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild
submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely
manner. There are simply too many new packages.

Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The
sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to
commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry
into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this
and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =)

Thanks,
On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team,
Markos.
