Description Vladimir 2010-06-26 22:28:26 UTC
sci-visualization/qtiplot-0.9.7.14 (and qtiplot-0.9.7.13 too) shows too wide dialog boxes. For example, a "Plot details" dialog box shown on a screenshot attached.

A screenshot demonstrating the incorrect behaviour.

Sorry, but It's not exactly a bug. You just need bigger resolution, or use meta key to move you window around.

Excuse me, but I still cannot agree with you.
First, the screen resolution is 1024x768. This is normally enough for any tasks, isn't it?
Second, QtiPlot sometimes shows dialog boxes of a normal width (see the screenshot-2).
And this indicates that the resolution of my screen is enough for QtiPlot to work properly.
By the way, I have noticed that the width of a dialog window depends on the layer I call it from. As you may see from the screenshots, there are 4 layers on my plot. If I double-click on the plot when the 3nd layer is active, the dialog box width is normal (for any layer! - I may switch them in this dialog box). And if I double-click on the plot when the 2nd layer is active, the dialog box is too wide.
I should emphasize that every time this dialog box has the very same contents. And this means that it should have the very same width, doesn't it?
