It doesn't work for me, I run: $ batti And prompt never returns :-(
I don't think it should return but it should pop up a tray icon, which doesn't happen here either. After reading the description, I was kinda confused anyway, it says "upower based battery monitor", the ebuild doesn't depend on upower though and I don't have it installed - maybe that's the source of the problem?
amd64 stable, here's how it works: 27/214752 <@hwoarang> remove the AC power 27/214819 <@hwoarang> afaik the applet only pops up when the AC power is unplugged
Thanks for the info :-)
Archtested on x86: Looks OK except this slightly strange behaviour at start: 1) Start up Batti displays a non-icon (it reserves space in the taskbar, displaying nothing) which I can right click on to get the about menu. 2) Remove AC Batti displays a battery icon 3) Replug AC Battery icon stays.
stable x86, thanks Thomas, closing
