Description Stephan Friedrichs 2010-06-26 09:23:39 UTC
In mail-client/thunderbird-3.1[lightning], the lightning add-on is broken:

 - The panel on the right, which should display events, tasks or both never displays the task list, it only shows a blank panel instead

 - When right-clicking on a calendar event, the 'delete' option is always disabled. In order to delete an event, you have to open the edit dialog and then select delete

 - Alarms don't work anymore

 - Changing the colour of event categories doesn't have any effect (the old colour is kept, although it is not configured anywhere anymore)

An additional problem is, that downgrading to thunderbird-3.0 doesn't work because 3.1 seems to change the calendar format, so that they can't be read by an older thunderbird version.

BTW: I experienced the same bugs with the 3.1_rc* version from yesterday which has been removed from the tree.

Reproducible: Always

OK, deleting ~/.thunderbird and re-configuring everything fixed the problems. Looks like one of the updates (maybe the 3.1 release candidate) messed up my configuration.
