emerge -Up --deep world

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

One of the disk arrays is offline to clear up some filesystem
corruption. If you see errors from rsync akin to 'chroot failed' this
  is why.

my guess is you (at some point) either uncommented ACCEPT_KEYWORDS in /etc/make.conf
or ran 'ACCEPT_KEYWORDS=x86 emerge -u world'.

The "missing" packages listed below are all ~arch masked versions. The packages
it's trying to downgrade to are the latest stable versions.

I verified that dev-lang/python-2.2.3-r5 does, in fact, exist on the GA Tech
mirror.

closing as invalid.

I'm not crazy. I'm not imagining this. Here's but one piece that gets nuked
by rsyncing to gtlib after syncing to another server. A more complete list

Problem should be fixed. Added back into .us and .namerica rotations.
