Description Xake 2010-06-14 01:48:33 UTC
when bug #322969 got fixed it created one downside: nothing ever runs vgchange/lvchange --monitor y --poll y
This manifests itself for example in palimpsest (gnome-disk-utility) where the VGs does not show up before you run "vgchange --monitor y --poll y" as root in a terminal. So currently it seems like gentoo/openrc would need an additional script for lvm running later during start up which starts this.

This makes two out of three VGs appearers in palimpsest here.

Fixed in 2.02.67-r2, new init.d, lvm-monitoring based on upstream setup of monitoring.
