Please find attached an ebuild for the pymssql python module, used to connect to
sql server databases from linux via freetds and unixodbc. Please note that I
have been using only freetds to connect, but the simple ebuild did build
correctly on an x86 system. Tested connectivity to both sqlserver 6.5 and
sqlserver 2000. Please see "http://pymssql.sourceforge.net/ for homepage of this
simple project. I've been using dev-python/mssql-python as the ebuild home,
unless you have any better ideas...

well, although similar, mssql is not mysql, but microsoft sql over odbc.

I'm not adding this ebuild to portage as we have no way of testing and maintaining this at the moment. I'm also not sure this has general amongst Gentoo users.

Thanks for submitting the ebuild anyway.
