Description Christopher Harvey 2010-06-06 18:54:22 UTC
the picasa program has an option to e-mail pictures for you. When used with thunderbird-bin-3.0.4 the e-mail window opens up but the images aren't attached. This is a problem because picasa has some nice features that let you shrink the size of a picture automatically so it can be sent nicely.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select an image
2. click the e-mail button
3. select thunderbird
4. note the missing attachments in thunderbird

I was able to solve this problem following the steps in the url given, and replacing the thunderbird command with thunderbird-bin.
It would be nice to see this script included in the picasa e-build.

The script from the url of this bug.

To be placed in /usr/bin and chmodded to 755
(also note that thunderbird-bin users will need to have thnuderbird-bin not thunderbird in that script.
