attached is an ebuild which installs RSSOwl 2.0.5 into /opt. RSSOwl (http://www.rssowl.org) is a feed reader rich in features written in Java. Package is written as an Eclipse Rich Application. Reason for binary install is that the application sources require (apparently? : http://wiki.rssowl.org/index.php/Build_RSSOwl_2.0) manual compilation in Eclipse. I suggest, although aware of the caveats, installing upstram binaries for economical reasons.

The sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry into the overlay. considering the age of the ebuild-proposal, I suggest closing the bug.
