There is no 0.99.1.1 tarball on sourceforge any longer. Suggestion to bump the version in portage. http://sourceforge.net/projects/matplotlib/files/matplotlib/ Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
0.99.3 was already added yesterday, just emerge --sync, and portage will always try to fetch the tarball from gentoo mirrors, so it's no problem if the tarball disappears from upstream site. *matplotlib-0.99.3 (03 Jun 2010) 03 Jun 2010; Sébastien Fabbro <bicatali@gentoo.org> matplotlib-0.99.1.1-r1.ebuild, -matplotlib-0.99.1.1-r2.ebuild, +matplotlib-0.99.3.ebuild: Version bump. Also forced -DNDEBUG to fix doc generation (bug #322347)
It is if you for some reason set GENTOO_MIRRORS to "". I now see 0.99.3, although ~, too, with correct sources/digest. Would still suggest removal of 0.99.1.1 or bump to 0.99.1.2, whose sources are still available. Sorry for being a pain in the ass.
